Linux

I got it running (badly) in openSUSE 10.1 and Ubuntu 5.10....
My problem is I have a Mobility Radeon 9600, and for some reason, even though I get 2k fps in glxgears, Cadega sees MESA for my GL rendering, not my direct rendering hardware accell.

I blame ATI... and my lack of desire to fight with it anymore than I already have, so I use my existing WinXP license for SoD. :sadf:

I'm having problems enabling 3d acceleration with Ubuntu, I have the latest ati drivers, cedega isn't recognizing it, using the vesa drivers also, pissin' me off.

It runs great in Ubuntu for AMD64 for me. I have an Nvidia 6600 pci-e card with 7667 drivers from their site.

About the only problem I have is I can NOT NOT NOT get the /dopropertinting command to work. I have tried numerous combinations of vertex and pixel shaders being on and off, but have had no luck. If ANYONE has Luclin models on, is running Ubuntu and Cedega 5.03, and has an Nvidia based card, and the /dopropertinting is working for you, please let me know.

It is NOT a texture issue either. I turned off texture caching and deleted every single .txc file their was. No help at all.

I'm stumped
