Linkdead every 20-30 seconds out of nowhere

I've been playing for about a week now, and greatly enjoying it.

Now, all of a sudden, I've started going linkdead on one of my 2 computers (the better of the two, no less) every 20-30 seconds. This, as you can imagine, makes it virtually impossible for me to be of any assistance in a group. It's also a bit infuriating...

Any ideas on how I might fix this? Does the server just hate me all of a sudden or something?

P.S. Only thing I've changed recently has been is... well... tint color for the UI. I really doubt that's the problem, but I'll reload defaults to check.

How do you miss the bright red text telling you to change the name of your character "Bristlebane" every time you logged in. My suggestion would be do what it says.

I am mostly colorblind in red. Thank you, I'll try to re-read it.

edit: On that note, is there any way to change the colors of system messages that appear in red, like the passcolor test? When that thing pops up I have to try and remember what the other one says, as I honestly can't read red text in the game.
