I was wondering why does a Lightstone or a Greater Lightstone does not give out any light whatsoever? I know this is not EQLive, but just pointing this out. Is this fixable or is it possibly broken? Or maybe there's just a reason they removed its effect.

I bought a Greater Lightstone for 50pp in Southern Newport and I was kind of dissapointed that I was still blind. (I am an Iksar) I know a few other items have a light source effect; Jailer's Staff (Quite heavy for a monk to carry around), Orb of Chaos (I don't have one anymore but I might just need to go get one and have it in my inventory o_O)

I have my enchanter cast Ultravision on me all the time, makes seeing a lot sharper. And please don't even say, "Just pump up your gamma!" That just makes my whole screen brighter; Well simply put...I want a flashlight :p

I'm sure many of us would like better items than a beetle's eye in our range slot. I bought a torch and now I have it in my inventory. I guess this will have to do.
 
Normal lightstones work fine for me, but, yeah, I had zero light coming out of greater lightstones, too. The normal ones seem to work well enough.
