Life after newport sewers?

What lvl do you recommend a necro leave newport sewers? Where should I go next? I have alot of options but never played any of them. I would like something with decent loot since I am broke.

level 10 is the latest you should leave the Ratmen, however there are always Sludgepaw gnolls soon after that. Blackburrow is good with leather drops, and chain drops deeper in, warrens is good for soft leather drops. South Waste of Tarhyl can be decent exp.

There are some moderately easy ways to get cash for you even under level 10. There's a quest in north newport that requires you to give a letter to someone in south newport, and rewards you with 8 plat, I believe. It also gives you a little evil faction, or good faction if you do the daughter's letter instead. Can't do this quest if you are dubious to the citizens however.

Also, as a low level, you'll probably acquire a lot of bone chips, wolf/cat/bear skins, wolf/bat/spider blood, dire leaves, etc. Don't vendor these. Players buy them. You can equip yourself pretty decently with income from selling these things to players.
