Levelling is kind of funky.

I've been levelling a human SK and a High Elf Cleric... and I'm levelling 2 times as fast as the cleric is at level 16. I have to hunt greens and die to stay equal with the cleric. I'm not quite sure what's going on.
 
Classes don't have any bonuses or penalties, as far as I know. It's only the races.

With that said, I level 10 % faster than a wood elf druid. It's annoying, but that's what you get for picking something other than a human,

I have a fe human necro that easily out-points both my gnomes and my troll. I do recall reading that the troll penalty has been removed tho...

I don't mind the racial differences - I figure there should be differences.
 
Look here for all race information (but it doesn't show racial XP bonus/penalties though. And it is a little old, so some of the info may have changed since then - sorry).
 
Yea, that's the one i've been looking at but, like you said, there isn't any real info on the actual bonuses to be had for each race/class. Is it possible to have them listed somewhere (if they aren't already) or are these not being released?

I'm just interested to see what bonuses/penalties my wood elf ranger has. :)
 
I'm doin Iksar monk and Human cleric and wow is there a difference. I was looking at one thing that was kinda screwy and couldnt find an answer on the forums. I noticed if i sat my cleric down and didnt do anything i wouldnt get xp for mob that my monk was killing, while grouped. Whether this was a bug or whatnot i dont know. Any clue at all?

I havent had a problem with it in several levels so im thinking it was a bug or sorry for the babbling first monk = mob, as i have corrected, thanks.

Trolls:
Regen
Slam
Nightvision

Iksar:
AC Bonus
Nightvision
Regen
Forage


I'd imagine iksar would have a higher xp penelty then trolls.
 
Originally, Troll SK had a 65% XP penalty for being large race with Slam (giving them the equivalent of Bash when wielding a two hander and giving them a chance to disrupt spells, which is a bigger advantage than it sounds), having enhanced regen, and having the much loathed hybrid penalty. A lot of their skillups were slow, as well, because their INT/WIS was usually low, so you could have a high level Troll with low-mid level skills because they are so thick.
