level 35 raid zone lol

Ya know the thought occurred to me that there are raid zones for level 65 n 65+ characters however the only raids i know of for lower then that level is well people getting there 55 into Cmal for gear and adepts. so i thought it would be cool if you guys added a level 35 Raid zone for raiding party of players level 30-35 to challenge. it would be level locked like the cesspits.

for the most part it would be a good learning experience for new players to learn how raids work second it would make a clear stopping point for players in the mid game to upgrade there gear. Players only stop leveling for adepts and there is usually not enough interest to do them most of the time. you could make it like Cmal except its for level 30-35 players n gear on par with what a level 30 raid mob would drop. Full sets for each class would be nice but 5 sets would do just fine.

a tank set (Warrior, Paladin, Shadow Knight)
a caster set (Wizard, Enchanter, Necromancer, Mage)
a priest set (Cleric, Druid, Shaman)
a melee set (Rogue and Monk)
a hybrid set (Bard, Ranger, Beastlord)

These would be 12 or 16 player raids whichever you think would be ideal for this, by no means are these raid mobs meant to be easy.

I don't really see this ever being utilized unless it dropped amazing loot and was easy enough for a couple twinks to clear. There are already adepts every few levels, I really doubt full fledged raid content is worthwhile when most people will either blow through the level range in one or two sessions of playing and/or replace the gear within a couple days.

It would have to drop not only amazing, but expable loot that lasts in both usability and coolness until level 70.

Leveling up you are lucky to find another human being to group with, let alone a raid.
Pre 51 you run into the problem of requiring people to xp lock or level out of the group/raid.
I used to be optimistic about low level content like you, but anything before 55 is of fleeting importance. You level out of anything quickly enough that it cannot be too involved and most rewards will be irrelevant shortly after you hit 55+ / discover listsold.

There are not many people around the level 30-35 range for one reason not enough people to do adepts so they keep leveling to 55. a 30-35 raid zone would get more people to stop at those levels and do the raid content.

This raid zones intent is to teach lower level players how raiding is done, how many of you people who do raids get a fresh lvl 65 in the raid who has no clue what they are doing, hopefully this would be something to reduce those numbers.

The raid dose not necessarily need to drop a armor set you could have 1 class specific item. This item would be an item even a level 65 would use till they got to near tier 8 content.

also n this is were the the real content could be for this. the mobs could drop spells that have reverse effectiveness as in the higher your level the less effective the spell is. meaning a healing spell dropped here could heal for 1000 for a level 30 cleric and only 300 for a level 50 cleric.

There isn't much content to exp lock at level 30 to do. One raid zone won't help that. If it is meant to be an introduction to raid content, the most effective way would be to allow players from level 1-64 to sync their level and current gear to a common range upon entering the zone.

Once up on a time there was nadox, wich did exactly that for level65s. WAS. RIP Nadox.

Nadox was far from an introduction to raid content though. It was more of an extremely unforgiving 6-man zone, heavily reliant on already knowing how to play your class on expert level.

Most lower end 65's didn't know it existed. However, a lot of the t6+ complained about the utter lack of monetary and outside gear reward. The zone was quite challenging and punishing, and Nadox code vastly limited the influence gear had. However, the reward was difficult buy thoroughly enjoyable 6-man content with amazing experience. However, balancing was also an issue, and the complaining eventually drove Zaela to abandon/close it. Still, there were some of us die-hard fans.

This seems doomed to fail for all those reasons and more. Also, I love having a fresh face come along on raids. For those who've raided in other games, they figure things out quickly and learn how to adapt to most of SoD's quirks quickly. For those that have not raided before at all, it's a chance to walk them through the basics and show them more of the fun they didn't really know was available here. It's only dealing with those that don't care to try, care, learn, or listen that annoys me.

So keep the new 65's coming! I love grouping and raiding with those guys. Who are the people complaining about them?

Nadox was a fun zone. But outside of EXP and a headache you don't get much from it. Unless you go there with a core group repeatedly. I guess you can consider entrance farming solid exps.

There is already something to teach people how raiding is done and goes, for lower levels, it is called adepts. A new 30's zone will not get people to slow leveling to riad/gear-up anymore than adepts do. It's a great idea in theory, but in reality, especially with low population, it would be a waste of resources.

people 2 box adepts how is that raiding.

Show me how you 2box Traekoth the Ancient and I'll give you 100 fame.

Point is, people CAN 2box a good part of the lower adepts if they are twinked out enough (hell I 1boxed most adepts up to Angaaar on my NEC...), but that eventually stops. From there, adepts evolve from 1groupable to things that require more then 1 group - lets call those things "raids", shall we?
