Legwraps of Woven Quintessence

Recently (this morning) these were changed from having a bugged Focus Effect: Flowing Throught II and worn haste to having FT2 and no haste. I have heard that FT2 was intended to be removed and the haste was intended to remain from some, and that haste was intended to be removed from others. I am not intending to suggest any changes to be made to the item, only hoping to clarify which change is going in.

Also, if the haste removal was intended, this is extremely detrimental to a jerk who may have looted this item and destroyed his other haste item  Sorry to be a bother, just looking for a clarification.

I think the item should keep both effects (haste and ft2) making it a viable upgrade for the melee classes and the int casters

Well actually he wasn't making suggestions so the forum may be appropriate but all this thread is going to turn into is suggestions anyways.

I've almost always operated under the assumption that FT was supposed to go and haste was supposed to stay. Originally I thought the item was neat having something useful to both int casters and melees, but I was informed the FT was a bug. In all honestly FT2 on the item is pretty much unbeatable, and arbiter isn't that hard of an encounter for it to be greater than, say, Versikol legs.

In any case, haste should stay and FT should go.

Also this is the right forum for it, since it's basically a suggestion that it go back to the way it was.

The name might warrant a change too if the ft is gone, at least as far as I'm thinking of quintessence in a mage: the ascenscion sort of way. Would expect to have ft on something like that, maybe legwraps of velocity or something like that.

No.

Couldn't agree more, I'm already looking forward to making these my haste item for the next few months. Any chance this change will go in anytime soon? I'd hate to see the pants go to casters for the time being then have the effect reversed.

Even though I'm sure they will be changed to haste with no FT on them, I would like to say that there aren't enough effect (duration inc, casting speed, FT, range inc) items for hybrids out there. I would like to see FT remain on them.

As always, if I've overlooked some item in the end game that has what I would like on it, please let me know.

/agree
Remove casters from the usable class list mayhaps? ;)

I am not well versed on hybrid items with or without FT. However, if Kemper's claim is true, maybe it wouldnt be a bad idea to keep both haste and ft2 on the item, while removing int casters from it and adding paladin/shadowknight. This way it wouldnt be overpowering for int casters, and would still be an ft item that the hybrids are lacking. Another option could be to keep haste on the legs with the same classes, and reduce ft2 to ft1, which wouldnt be overpowering towards the int casters in my opinion.
