Due to my uncle apparently needing my computer out his house for work related reasons(since he's got to do spreadsheets and such) and doens't have a computer. Well....my plan to be here by the middle of the week's kinda flushed down the tubes.

Update:


It would seem two things have happened, one depending on what happens with the other.

The first thing: for the time being my computer will not bootup past the bios screen. No errors, it reports the propper ram, it just will not get past the bios into either setup or windows.

IF I can get that fixed its going to end up staying with my family....leaving me to hve to save up to buy a new computer.


Given the machine's age I'd have bought a new one anyway but still, I'm in a bit of a bind if the ide controller's fried.
