least played dps class?

sup dudes i played eq live about 9 years ago when i was a youngin and I'm thinking about playing SoD. JW what in your opinion is the least played dps class. thanks..
 
I don't really have a definate anwser to your question..but.....DPS is always needed. So depends on what you really want to play? Caster dps or melee dps?

Note..rangers don't have autofire like on live.

Can't go wrong with whatever choice you make though. This game is much better in many ways....and it is totally different in a very good way. I'm sure you will be digging it if you give it a fair shake.
 
BSTs are nice to have around, but if I was gonna make a DPS for my first toon on the server I'd go mage, would make it easier lvling another toon later if you change your mind/make an alt
 
Yeah BSTs are scarce.

Rangers used to be when i first started but there seems to be a high number of them now.

Mages are not that common either.
 
Beastlords are fun and easy to level and would make a great first character. You should be warned though that in the higher end 6-man zones they are not at all in demand. This won't have any effect on you for a long while so enjoy being a beast, I do.
