Lag & Crashes

Hello All,

Lots of my friends and I have been experiencing lots of crashes lately, after a zone...Lots of lag....Is this something going on with the server? Its a wide range of people from various US locales? Just wondering if others were getting it too..
 
I occasionally have a window zone for eternity myself. Kind of a drag. And no, it's not two chars on one account, before anyone asks =) Happens sometimes even if I just have one character on at a time.

But whatever, it doesn't really affect gameplay all that much. As for lag, there is the occasional packet loss bug, which is a little rougher on you when hunting, but hey... whatcha gonna do?

I haven't had any crashes, per se.
 
Occasionally, when I'm playing everything is in slow motion, like I'm replaying an interesting fight, it's weird. Yes, I have noticed that times when problem number one is an issue, I also have long zone times. the zone times don't really bother me, it's everything being in slow motion that drives me crazy.

I've experienced some notable lag the past few days (and some LDs) often resulting in death. In addition, a couple times while 2-boxing, one character would become totally lagged during a fight (just stands there looking at mob, not doing anything) while on the other character the lag is significantly less & the mob is already dead. Anyone else experienced something like that?

Yeah, the packet loss bug is pretty common. It's worse when it kicks in mid-spell, because then you can't sit to camp out. While losing packets like that, your spell gets stuck mid-cast and you can't do anything. If you're not casting or anything of the sort, you can sit and camp out to fix it.
 
I wish there were a way to correct it while in combat. Happened again just a moment ago. I couldnt fight back so I zoned, but on the other computer it showed me just standing there being beat on until death. ;(

Edit: and again... I think it's time to quit for the night. :p
 
packet loss in greenmist

I get the packet loss bug like everyone else, but the problem i'm having is that every single time i zone into greenmist i get the packet loss bug and being that i am an ogre and have to return to oggok periodically this gets to be very problematic. Does anyone else have this problem?
 
Hmmmm, strange. I don't seem to have any issues zoning, let alone zoning into Greenmist. Though, on rare occassions, I get the sudden packet loss, I watch the bar slowly drain and hit the red to point of going LD and then immediately leaping to full green.
