KoS from Newport Guards

Hello!

Got an urgent question:
For Info:
I just wanted to do my Newport ring 2 quest, when I was in Eastern Badlands and wanted to talk to the Quest giver Inviltrator Vergood.
I forgot to switch from my Skelly form (necro) to normal why he attacked me. I just tried to run away and FD but got jumped by a few
other mobs and so forgot my pet which was slaying the Inviltrator. Thus I got a huge faction hit to Newport.

Now the Problem:
I am killed on sight from newport guards since then and cannot even continue my quest, not even in normal form (darkelf)

Now is there a way to get better faction when all guards attack you? I cannot get Bounty Tokens and so on.

But I wish to at least continue my quests and raise faction. (got some Liandreth Heads to trade in for example)

Please help me with that...

Can try getting an illusion and using the ambassador's writ to cast alliance so you can do quest turn ins for faction. Depending on how big the hit you took was, this may not be possible.

I will try to find out whats this Writ (check out this forum ;) ) and give this a try. Hope it works.
 
Same happened to me (Ikky Necro)

I was able to turnin with Illu Human, any Level 4 Enchanter can offer it to you.

I don't know if you will get out of kos with turnins, maybe yes, maybe not.
 
AFAIK these Crops dont work anylonger unfortunately. I tried this as a lowlvl a few weeks ago. Didnt give faction, just copper. :(
I will try turning in these Heads or Ears and look what happens. Hope the Illu lasts long enough ;)
 
Ya...before the main quest came out, i had no care or concern for newport faction. Now that they came out with a good quest in Newport, I cant even do it. KoS since level 30, and theres no way I know of now to raise it...which is lame as hell. There should be an NPC you can pay off to raise Newport faction or kill an opposing town for Newport faction. I dont mind whiping out Grobb/Oggok! Man WTB Faction :10bux:
 
I tried with Illu Human thanks to a nice 65 enchie I could do all my open quests in Newport :)
Farmed some Gnoll Ears, got some Liodreth heads but still I am threateningly to guards.
If I cannot raise it enough I will change my mind and maybe really gonna be real evil soon. Killing all Newport faction guys ;) instead of raising the faction...
 
Faction grinding is never fun ... but if I put it in terms of a moron/jerk Network Engineer that works with me ... then I suppose grinding is a must ... since he already has the worst faction with me ... if he ever wanted to win my respect he'd have to grind up the faction too. *chuckle* :)
 
My Network Engineer brethren!!!

It is YOU who must grind the faction with the Network Engineer, not the the other way around.

The Network Engineers of the world are surly and growl so much because all of you munchkin peons think just because someone showed you 14 times how to turn on a PC, and you finally got it, that you can be a Network Engineer. The network and the servers must transcend the laws of physics and attain a state permanent functionality. Preventative maintaince is forbidden. Redundancy is too expensive. Repairs are made with duct tape and a paper clip. And the Network must never waiver.

We must explain why the network is slow at 8am, 11am, 1pm, and 4pm.

If we could do our jobs, then we could make it faster for free. I can, in fact, make the network faster for free, but they also will not allow hands to be chopped off or skulls to be caved in.
