Awhile ago, in this thread Wiz stated:

As stated in the thread, at first the people who play high end knights were pretty stoked about the change, and at first glance one can see why, the change sounds awesome. But, after giving it (even more) thought, it still just doesn't sound like a great idea (for all the same reasons listed in the previous thread). Just because the class isn't as useful and played as a healer, or as overpowered as a bard etc. is no reason to stop itemizing for that class. Necros still get class only items/gems from Thaz, and there is only one(?) that is even in a guild that does Thaz. (I also realize they don't get a style of weapon and armor directed totally towards them)
What gets me the most is that it could still be months until this change is completed, and high end knights will be stuck with the same 1 hander, from 2-3 tiers below Thaz. I would like to request that at least one other Knight one hander be placed in Thaz, either through a quest needing a class gem and essences, and maybe some other items from throughout Dalaya, or dropped from one of the bosses in the the wings or tower.
