keeping up with group members

Would it be possible to put something in so your group members show up on your map? As a different color crosshair or something? Or would this be some kind of client thing that can't really be done?

Would it be possible to do something like this? If not as a patch, then as a seperate downloadable file? Or is that just totally out of the question? I have problems often with running around and my mouse will freak out for a second and I'll be staring at the sky spinning around rapidly and after it stops I'll have no idea which way my group members went. It's rather obnoxious, especially in heavily forrested areas.

I assume you have an optical mouse. What type of surface is your mouse on? Tried the latest drivers for your mouse?

Can always use /follow to avoid this. Also, when running around, you can navigate and strafe with the keyboard taking the mouse out of the picture (since I assume you are holding the right mouse button down to move your view). I know long time ago I had a similiar situation when I played TFC.

Yeah I have an optical mouse. It does this on a regular mouse pad, the wooden desktop, and a piece of paper weighted down. I didn't even think about drivers. Didn't even know they had different drivers for your mouse. I suppose follow is an option I had forgotten about, but I don't like navigating with the keyboard.
