Kaezulian War- Corpse Issues/timer issues

We were fighting in N tarhyl after Allieyn's crew dispersed and had a great time killing the NPCs. Then a named spawned and we killed him. After a minute or two, the corpse was no longer lootable by the 2nd raid and the guy who won the sleeves was unable to loot them. (Harvester something dropped sleeves that had blight focus-Craazu missed out on)

Within 10 minutes we had another named spawn and die. (The War Smith dropped Wheel of something off hand item won by Heldon) As one guy looked at the items on the corpse he went LD and the corpse disappeared. This was within 2 minutes of killing the mob dying.

On top of these issues, the corpse timers seemed to be almost entirely 5 minutes. I had though that it was supposed to be longer for War mobs to allow time for loot discussions.

We did petition, and I was advised to post this here. I request that the issues mentioned above get reviewed. If at all possible, please do reimburse the items to those who won them.

Thank you.

I dont know if your answer was to the reimbursement of items or to everything in the post TM but the war event would benefit as a whole from the named corpses lasting longer before decaying.

Is corpse decay time level based? I have no idea how the code works.

This was an issue back when I cleared two or three zones the last time the war came around.

I hope in the end something can be done about it. I know it is incredibly complicated script, but without problems getting fixed people will not want to participate. Imagine if it was a ToT raid and the corpses mysteriously poofed or the corpse was suddenly unlootable. Even if the script itself cannot get fixed, at least revisit the idea of treating the symptom?

I am not saying that people do not work hard and do a good job by any means. But, there is a crack that needs fixed here. The war is a story-line driving event and people need to participate but when half the loot is unattainable it makes it hard to keep morale up for it. That will drop participation.

Fixing problems like these issues would make more people want to help the war effort. Hopefully Wiz looks into this, because ,this, coupled with some of the other issues in previous posts, make the war events less desirable.

I'm sure that he will but he's also in the middle of moving so it might be a while.

My favorite phrase, "Real Life First, Always." I am sure he is aware of it and does not need us to nag him.
