Just installed...

So I installed Titanium, ran the autopatcher, and it won't let me run eqgame.exe....It tells me to run the normal file instead. I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong here, but the patcher didn't dump a sodbin or any of the other things mentioned in the how to install sticky. I'm not sure if I should be getting a different login screen than the typical one, or what the typical one even looks like but it's not accepting my account login info I registered here.

when eqw asked you to locate the game file did you use the eqgame.exe or *********.exe?, it should be eqgame.exe btw the *********.exe is the "live patcher"

Well, I used *********.exe the first time. Just tried running the patcher again and told it to launch the other exe, with similiar results. It loaded 2.35a beta, and the login still doesn't work. Should I reinstall?

It's pretty clear on that I'm on the right server now after having it boot eqgame.exe instead. I'm getting error 1001 though about not being able to connect, do I need to open ports?

Found out what was up, there's another .exe that you need to allow in your firewall besides eqgame. it's eqwgfix or something to that extent found in documents and settings\name\my documents\downloads\eqw Seems to be necessary, but I'm only seeing one server on the server list which is locked SoD Malath server?

The server has been down for a patch for the last hour-ish, including the log-in server. Try again in a little while.

Oh? I really hope this patch fixes the issues some of us have been experiencing as of latly... Oh please!
