just installed have problems

i just installed on my new laptop and can not get it to go to full screen and the grafics are all mess up the char look like there exploding. the lapetop is a hp with 17 in screen and a amd turion 64x2 duel core and has one gig of ram and a nvidia card in it any help would be great thanks

Sounds like a dual core issue. Have you tried the things listed in this thread?

think igot the duel core issue fixed only have to figure out the reason i cant get it to full screen thanks for the help so far
