Earlier today in Paw, a group consisting of Me, _Maycot_ (Druid) and 4 others encountered High Paw. He dropped his staff, which Maycot looted while myself and another waited on Rez's. After rezzing us, I told the group to /random 100 on the staff. At that point, _Maycot_ went link dead and has not returned for me to speak with him yet.

So, I mentioned his name once in /ooc and in here. If it is not appropriate to post stuff like this here then remove it and sorry for the trouble. Just figured it might be worth it to some people to know of someone like this, since they seem to be rare on SoD.
 
comparing your gear and Maycot's gear, I would say feel sorry for the little bastard and let him have the stick, except that he basically stole it.

Even for poorly equiped people stealing is a bastardish thing to do, I hope little pricks like that dont overrun this server, as it is free and wiz and team dont need the extra stress of dealing with people like that. :sadf:
 
There were 4 other people in my group. I passed on the staff anyway, this isnt about what dropped or what I missed out on, its just warning others in case something like that _would_ make a big difference.
 
....Try having a dial up connection and repatch to live... It take's awhile... And There's one thing I'm not. And That's a Stealer. Anyway. This porblem will be solved when Malkium come's on. So I would like to clear my name of this crap.
 
So then why did you attempt to sell the whirling paw staff? What you should have done is try to contact the group members and sort out the problem instead of being selfish and selling it.
 
This is the reason I solo / duo. Every now and again I would run across a group that was actually worth grouping with but that was rare for a starting player.

I hope this is worked out, but it he tried to sell the staff and proof can be presented, I hope we see a public IP ban and Account delete. Only KSers are worse then thieves.
 
The server has been pretty good for grouping for me. Occasionally I'll get a group with a yahoo or two, but in general it's been pretty solid. The other thing I like is overall the server has a 'need before greed' attitude for item drops.
 
Honestly who care if these people are banned? Eventually they will earn a name for themselves as a NL and no one will group with them and guilds will not accept them.
KSers are a different matter. Kill em all! lol.
 
Like I said this porblem is going to be solved. Me and him will roll for it. But like I said, Me, and my brother share that account. He did not know that staff was going to be rolled. When my brother told me that people were saying the staff was stolen I went on the computer and took over and tired to fix this porblem. But only 2 of the groupie's I've grouped with were on. And both of them passed on the rolling, and now I'm waiting for one more of the groupie's to get on. Yes I am sorry got going LD, but I did come back on and they were gone. And I whipered Onos, and other of the 4. None were on. I would had gotten on eariler but I have a wife, and I have a job. And I had to repatch it to live due to the D/C I have gotten alot latley, And when I have tried to get back on. I had a error containing, Somthing eqfeart.pak blah blah. So I repatched to live. My brother has said he was sorry for is action's. He did not know. I still got the staff, and I'm wating for that person to come on. I wish to say, I'm sorry got my action's Onos, and the rest of the group. Not many people would do this.

Yes, one might suggest that you let your "brother" make his own account. You certainly can't claim that he can't afford if.
 
I'd grab popcorn but I don't like it.

But, everything's taken care of so there's really nothing to see anyway.
 
I remember last time I was accused to ninja looting. It was really all just a misunderstanding. You see, I had to go and put out my sister's hair (mishap with a couple of candles, a pair of dentures, some ice cream and a can of propane--you know, the usual), so it wasn't me playing the toon. It was, in fact, my dog Jodie. She was a border collie--you know how smart they are. She thought that everyone else said they didn't need the item, so she went ahead and looted it. Apparently one of the group members hadn't replied yet, thoughg, and ended up throwing a hissy fit.

It was all quite the fiasco, and Jodie ended up taking taking this guy to court over it.



Anyway, pardon the derail.
