I've been spending quite a bit of time in GSM on my necro. I've had the displeasure of encountering a quite obvious 4-box. The player names were Atta, Eldm, Cruflua....I forget the last. It was very very obvious that this player was 4 boxing in that I could kill a spectre faster than this group of 4 could. Nobody moved. They all just sat there.

As soon as I started pulling a mob, I get a rude message telling me to "keep my distance and not run my F-ing mobs" over.

I never came anywhere near this person's 4-box. He then logged into a mage named Iflacray and spent the next 2 hours smashing every mob in sight.

I had a very enjoyable cup of coffee watching this mage hurry around to tag mobs.

yeah any gm will be able to assist you with that but tao loves catching them most of all so if he's on it's game over
 
At least one of those character names is already on my radar. I'm not sure about him yet, but I'm watching him.

Yes, I have a list of people I suspect of wrongdoing that I spy on.

Yes, that includes at least one member of my own guild.

No, I won't tell you who they are.

Yes, I enjoy leaving you wondering.

Glad to see someone has an actual interest in what's happening ingame. I can think of more than one major MMO company that couldn't care less...and they have 1000x the staff.
 
It's a benefit of running a free game. We can afford to keep the standard of behavior high.

It's actually surprising how the last two times I banned a donator, someone else started donating at that same amount-per-month within a week.

Our standard of behavior is somewhat high, but the people who aren't brand new to the game appreciate the atmosphere for the community that creates. New people either: (1) Appreciate it and join us like the Borg (2) Hate it and run screaming for the hills (3) Play while hating the rules, are complete jerks, and eventually post on the forums that getting groups is impossible and quit never realizing that their reputation has caught up to them.

I suggest (1). I feel in love with the game about a week after I started playing... right after I went and read the rules that I was supposed to read before logging in.
 
This is why you should always post on accounts that dont disclose your character names
