Journal?

I looked through about 10 pages of topics before posting this(I appoligize if I missed anything, I know the admins are fixing the search function for the forums as fast as they can), but I can't get my journal to work. I have it enabled and I read the help for it, am I missing something simple? If I'm wasting your time I appoligize...
