I was wondering if anyone was able to get the iz3d drivers to work with SoD www.iz3d.com
These drivers essentially allow you to play the game in 3d with anaglyph (Red blue) 3d glasses.
What happens is this: Windowed does not appear to work at all. At least not with eqw.The game loads and takes me to the TOS screen. After clicking I agree, and then logging in the screen switch resolution. Just before it is able to switch resolution, eqgame.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. After that happens, I cry, but I don't think the last part is a tech issue.
Now, here is the interesting part. I have fooled around a bit with other emulator servers, and they use a newer version of the client then we do. And they work! This leads me to believe that the switch of screen resolution is causing the issue. So first I ask, has anyone gotten it work sucessfully with SoD? Or at least to a point further then I have?
Secondly is there any way to stop EQ from switching resolutions? Either have the login screen come up at 1024X768, or have the client run in (yuck) 640X480?
Finally, if these don't work, and I would assume most likely not, is there a way to use a newer client that won't crash when using iz3d.
Oh yes, and failing all that, has anyone been able to get ANY anaglyph 3d to work on the client we use?
