It's like the eqw window isn't even there...

I've read everywhere and have yet found an explanation for this problem.

So, like, I start up eqw and go into eqgame, and then it goes to the EULA screen and I click on accept but it clicks on something in the backround.
Like, say the "My Documents" window was in the backround behind the EULA. And I have to keep rebooting my computer so I can get out of the eqgame window.
Pleez help someone. >.>
I am using windows xp btw.

Try deleting eqw.ini in the eqw folder. Or rename it for safety reasons.

Well I did that but every time I run eqw again the eqw.ini just reappears syduck:

Of course it does :haw:

Open the file with a texteditor and you see what it does. The program reads the window settings from it. If it's not there, it writes a new one using the correct values according to your system's screen resolution. At least that's what it supposed to do. Deleting it helped me and several others.

So, you still have the problem?

No, you can run without EQW just fine.

I have this same problem and when I run eq without eqw it goes to live EQ, could someone help? I also did try to delete eqw.ini

Actualy I just reinstalled the patcher and all and it works fine now, try that.
