As most of you have probably seen, I'm retiring from SoD. It's been a great run and I've had a lot of fun on this server but all good things must come to an end, and there is really just nothing left for me. I've been playing SoD for 3+ years now and I've left and returned throughout the entire time the server has been around so I'm sure I'll come back at some point.
I wasn't going to make a post, but I've had a surprising amount of interest in the form of email's and PM's since I've stopped logging in and changed my sig, so I figured I'd just make a post. I've made quite a few friends from SoD, and I'm sure I'll stay in contact with some of them for years. There are some truly great people on this server and I've been honored to have been guilded with them for the last 6 months.
To Wiz and the staff, you guys have been great to me and to the high end game. Far better treatment than any of the guilds I was with on Live got and the fact that you worked with suggestions from myself and the other people who were in the high end game. I've got mad respect for Wiz, Zodium, Liam, and the other people who've been devoted to this server for the last 3 years, it really is phenominal how far you guys have taken this project.
I know I stepped on some toes and pissed some people ( ok a lot of people! ), but that's simply how I've always played games, it's nothing personal and I don't hold grudges. I've always been the elite asshole and probably will be for some time! But to those who I truly offended, I apologize.
I hope the server continues growing and expanding because this is an amazing project with a lot of great idea's and people. I'm sure I'll be back at some point and I'll probably troll the forums every now and then.
