I want to try to make a database with a bit of items in it.
(I know many have tried such a thing but i have to start somewhere and if i have some input i think it is possible to do such a thing)
I have made a little access database.
And introduced several items that i know.
But i don't think it is possible to introduce it all by myself.
So i have a little question.

Are there more people interested in giving some input to make such a database?

I have already 219 items so far.
Once i find some webspace i will put it online.
But so far all you that have done input have a copy of the database

It's a work in progress - right now you can search the db and see stats on items, that's about it. I'm adding the ability to submit new items and the ability to comment on items - hopefully we can encourage people to tell us where they got certain pieces of equipment (what quest, what mob drops it, what zone, whatever).

Keep checking back for updates....
 
I'd recommend that you check through wanelo links in people's signatures from time to time. Seems like a good way to find items. :)
 
Well if everybody should enter the items they wear and can see in wanelo.
There should be already a lot of items in the database.
It's just a matter of copy and paste and maybe add the monster that drops it or from wich quest it is.

ok ik got 1078 items so far. Now i'm still looking for some webspace.
Meanwhile i will continue to find items to add to the database.
 
We should start some sort of Winters Roar item hunters group or something :D

i'm up for it - all we gotta go is standardize our databases and keep eachother up to date.

PM me if you are interested in doing this.
 
1320 items now.
It will take a little longer now to add more.
First priority is to find space to put it on the web.
 
was wondering if you guys have coordinated and formed and item database yet?

Sheck's DB works. When you add a url for your character it automatically adds all the items from that character. You have to register so nobody can spam it with garbage. Best item source I've seen so far and he's still refining it. Also will save your characters to a profile that you can view and when you've updated items all you do is click a "refresh" link and it adds all your new stuff if it's not already in the db. Also you have the ability to read and comment on items when you register (drop locations, mobs, etc)
