Items Poofed

Hail, my apologies if this is not the right thread, i'm not sure what to put it under. I recnetly was doing mq5 and while upgrading the satchel, my items poofed. I petitioned in game, waitd around about 1.5 hours and no response as of yet, and someone recomended posting it. Any help or response would be greatly appricated!

I believe the quest text mentions to empty the bag before proceeding. The text was added due to this exact problem.

Was there anything you cannot replace in your bag?

Yeah I can't imagine a quest turn in being able to poof the items back into a new container.

I read, and re read the message, there is no warning. I was told to look at the wiki after, which I was not following at the time, and yes, on the *wiki* there is a warning, nothing I could find in the game dialogue though. And of the items, what i'm most concerned with is pg 7 for the inherited founders mantle quest, that took me awhile to get.

And yea, it's not like I handed the bag to her with items in it, she grabbed it out of my inventory.

I'm not saying your a liar, but I can't think of a single other quest in the game where the NPC interactions with the characters items were automated (I.E. you didn't have to hand them in yourself)

Maybe I don't do enough quests.

Yes, there is. Its in bright yellow text and presented to you before you give the command to trade in your bag.

heh, that lady drop took me a rather long time to get, which is pretty anoying. And if there was a little yellow text, I guess I didn't catch it on the re-read, my mind probably added it to the /cm d1 phrase.
