Item revision thread

There have been quite a few items get changed lately and I totally understand the need to balance items against each other and also for risk vs reward. My only request is that maybe the revised items could be listed in a thread. Just post that any bitching about changes will result in an immediate ban.

I'm only guessing here, but my theory is that there are 2 item databases maintained. One is for live items, another is offline and used for editing. When a patch is made, the offline one is copied over the live one and thus the changes get into the game. Could a program be added that compared the 2 and generated a report of the differences that could then be posted on the forums? Yesterday, Item A was a better choice for me but today Item B was revised and would be better, but unless I happen across Item B again I have no way of knowing.

If it can't be done, oh well. Thanks for considering.
 
One that stands out is that the Ring of Scale and Ring of Thunder (whatever the SK one is) were reduced in HP, to 50 and 55 repectively. This was relatively recent. Oh and the Gnomish Tinkered Focuser was reduced from 50 mana to 35, which is ok because it was definately too good for the difficulty.
 
We will be making large changes to our web interface in the foreseeable future. I'll note this down, but it won't come in the form of a thread.
