I've had an issue with the patcher, and i figured it out on my own after downloading the files manually for i don't know how long.
I run Win XP Pro. I downloaded the patcher. pointed it to my EQ folder. Well, i'd run it, but after the first time, it'd crash. REASON: After running it the first time i would always 'Pin' it to my start menu. Nice little windows feature is the cause of my problem. If i run the WRPatcher by double clicking the actual exe OR if i make a regular shortcut and put it on desktop (or anywhere), it run fine, everytime. Don't know what the difference is between pinning it and making a shortcut, but it solved my problem. and hey, if i help one person, i'm glad i posted.
