Is there a way to disable alt-tab and windows key?

Did some search but only finding info on how to enable them
If i recall back when i played like in 2000ish there was a way to do it, but can not remember how.

reason why, i am playing on a p3 933 with 32meg onboard vid, it doesn't like to be windowed at all
so i have it set to full screen which works, but if i happen to use either alt-tab or windows key, it goes
into windowed mode and turn almost near black.
