There is always a sense of surprise about what a new patch brings. New zones? New loot? Different drop rates? Perhaps your spell is resisted more, or now less? Or that bug you always hated is finally fixed.

I remember suggesting a while back that necro blood DOTs be doubled in damaged and halfed in duration, which you agreed to. However, I don't know if you just did that for boil blood, or every blood spell (I'm getting ignite blood soon
