On the homepage it shows Up or Down. I think it would be cute if it had a little forecast etc.

Server Staus is Up
Current time in Dalaya is XX:XXpm/am
It is snowing in Halas and Erudin is expecting sunshine.
The Mass is going to eat your babies!


I just think it would be hilarious in so many ways.

I don't think anyone knows what he is talking about. That never existed as far as I know.
 
Like I said, Intering/Funny. Just kind of hit me one time while I was looking at the local forecast that this could fit for SoD :p
 
Specifically, the CIA is sending monthly cash stipends to Afghani warlords to ensure that any efforts we make to show that kind of information on the website are thwarted. If you've got problems with it, I'd suggest taking it up with them. Be sure you wear a clown suit with fake glasses and moustache, though--if you're identifiable, you might well wind up as an "insurgent" in Guantanamo Bay.
 
I really like the idea of knowing how many people are on before I log. I nearly always check the forums before I log (and nearly all the damn time anyway...im an eevil lurker) and get to em going through the main site...Yay for this idea^^
 
This thread is not about the repeated requests for something we never have added or will add, but rather about an idea of Danku's. Instead of locking it, I'll just declare this unfortunate derail over under threat of suspension. :)
 
So, back to my idea. I think it would add an amusing bit it all and was wondering what the staff thought about it? (yeah, just the staff you derailing SoB's! J/K heh I dont mind the derail I think it is hilarious)

An old guild I was in constantly updated their MoTD with hilarious stuff,

Verrin KSed Kimmurl last night, watch it Kimmy poo is KOS to all today!
Tarsk rhymes with.... well, screw that nothing rhymes with Tarsk.

Or they would put up one liners from /gu chat that members had found funny when taken out of context.

/gu XXXX says, 'It wasn't my fault I came first'


Was alot of fun. I haven't had that feeling of comraderie in years that I had there, until I came to SoD.
