The vast majority of NEC/WIZ/MAG/ENC items have no Wisdom Stats on them.

I am guessing that this is because at the time these items were introduced INT casters had no use for Wisdom and so there was no point in putting it on.

However since the introduction of Tome of the Mind, Mages have the ability to use overcap Wisdom to obtain Pet Healing crits.

So I am putting forward for consideration, the suggestion that WIS stats could be added to INT caster items.

You’re a caster (mage) and because of that you get to essentially double dip in critical tomes (Tome of Critical Evocation && Tome of the Mind) for your main source of DPS.

As a melee, they only receive Tome of Striking.

On top of that you can also obtain tomes that increase spell damage (again your main source of DPS) by a flat percentage that stacks with the five Codex of Power tomes.

As a melee, this will only increase proc DPS.

So in a nut shell, simply being a caster lets you benefit from the new Ikisith Tomes more so then melee DPS.

You must realize that you’re asking item developers to revamp and rebalance hundreds if not thousands of items in the game simply so you could obtain even more benefit from a tome that is already amazing for you.

By adding wisdom to all these items; would you want them to have less Hit Points, Mana, or Resists as a result to keep them balanced?

There are items in game that are broken and or do not function properly. I think it would be best for item developers to devote their free time, they do not get paid for, on fixing these items.

I also feel that the developers have already seen the need for wisdom and intelligent to be added to gear. They are already doing a great job in adding wisdom, intelligence, and Charisma on new items that are used by classes that are lacking in said stats.

Chaotic Coil of Spikes having 36 int and Strands of the Severed Fate having 25 int/cha are some examples.

Also, nothing is stopping you from augmenting your gear with Wisdom.
