when installing, do i have to include the EQ legends expansion pack? Im on a very high speed line at a university and it says its gonna be almost 24 hrs to patch.....is this correct?

No you don't have to include the Legends expansion.

Unless you are patching everything brand new then it shouldn't take 24 hours - keep in mind though that if you are going from a brand new installation you need to download about 7 years worth of patches, updates and expansions...so that will take quite a while to finish.

Just finished repatching live with all required updates and it took less than 4 hours on an ADSL connection.

i could see dial up taking 24 hrs, but on my cable conection it takes me maybe an hour to patch fresh from live
