I want to add some flavor to the recipes with a little something for the Taldorian of the world.

I already got ideas for a few of skitterling recipes like Skitterpops and Skitterskatters, but what OTHER insects are there in the world? I never payed enough attention to this kind of thing before (or tradeskills at all)


anyone got ideas for recipes or just a parts list?
 
yeah, but which bettles from where and what parts and how rare are they?

I mean, skitterling legs drop commonly, but skitterling shells are a lot less common, and would make a better quality food.

I need to kill some rockbeetles and see what they drop. Since they are higher level, they might make a bit better food.



Highest level insects I can think of are the giant beetles of GSM, but I think they drop level 1 beetle eyes and legs, not specific items, and lets face it, beetles are not all that interesting. If we get race restricted food, I could probably get some decent food out of the mosquitos and leeches of Stinger's even though they are low level.
 
Rock Beetle Meat!

Rock Beetle meat, for some reason, sells for a good price to vendors - and seems to be a bit on the 'uncommon' side (it's been a while since I've been to sundered mtns though). I'd go for the rock beetle meat - insectically delicious :)
 
Speaking of Sundered Mtns, there are the "Dune"-sized rock worms. They occaisionally drop meat worth about 1pp.
 
True, but they go along the same exoskeleton creepy crawly stuff that insects do.

what keeps a frog from eating an arachnid.

Add fire beetle eyes for spicy recipes =D
