Innactive account deletions?

Do old accounts get purged? If so, I may be an unlucky one. :(

Hi yall, it's been a long while sense I've played. I just recently got my internet back, and bought a new harddrive for my computer. Anyway, I installed the game, ran the patcher, everything is fine program wise. However, it seems my account is no longer in existence.

I still have the original piece of paper I wrote the account name and password, as well as the original Email i sent to myself with the same info. I even took into account when the servers were attacked or something, and we had to change our passwords.

Anyway, the two accounts I am concerned about have my main Characters, Lector and Gallart :(
 
Both appear to be still around, granted if the character exists, you can usually fomelo them :)

You'll just need to speak to an admin to retrieve the password basically, just jump on irc and ask nicely in #sod.
 
Thanks Waldoff, but as mentioned before, I've already been through that a long while back. I'm pretty sure all of those posts and whatnot are outdated by now.
 
Unless it's a GM account, theoretically it should still be active. If you haven't yet, go through the account recovery system, even if you're sure you know the password. Something could easily have been changed, and it can just as easily be reset. The GMs address any recovery requests on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so now's the time.
 
The GM answer those e-mails all the time (unless they forget :psyduck: ).
Answered yours. The password-wipe-error recovered last summer, so it also corrupted yours.

Old accounts don't get deleted, at least haven't gotten so far.
