Immaculate Crystalline Orb

The treasure hunting quests yield very nice rewards for all the various classes. The healer reward, the Immaculate Crystalline Orb, is Secondary only. Since Lifeward (a defining item for clerics) has been added back in, is there any chance of getting Primary and/or Range added to the Orb?
 
Not that I mind about your proposal, but I'd like to say that perhaps not everyone feels that the Lifeward is class defining (I presume this is what you mean by a 'defining item'?) I hate to rez... To heal, that is class defining....

What I meant was that it's one of those things that higher end clerics use pretty much exclusively. It's easy enough to get that the "entry-level" raiding guilds can get them, but good enough that even the top end clerics still use them (at least all the top-end clerics I know of still use it). It's something that would most likely not be replaced by the Orb, yet anyone with the resources to do the harder maps to get the Orb can also get the Lifeward, making the quest pretty much a no-go for clerics while still being quite nice for every other class.

You're right, "defining item" probably isn't the term I was looking for.
 
Gotta make a choice on items like this. There are some good cleric usable mainhands that can be gotten at (or very near to) the same level of raiding required to do the harder tmaps/lifewards. Ocy's Tankard, Whip of Torment, Sanctified Mace of Reckoning (Cil is a little higher, but not too far off), the EDHK Mini orb, Firkaal 1hb are some examples of options.

I dont see how this is any different than having two secondary weapons to choose from. For example, Fjorelf (sp?) from GLib and Stormrazor from Sultan are both offhand only. It wouldnt make sense to make one or the other primary/secondary when there are plenty of mainhand options at the same level as said weapons.

Not to mention, you could just switch to Lifeward for rezzing and Orb for the mana =)
