Well to start out i played ********* up to Gates, I have been looking for a guide to know what cd's to install to get the game up running.

I checked the FAQ, i looked in the forums under. tome of Knowledge, requirements, i find alot of info, but nothing that tells me, to get the game up and running do things in order 1,2, 3, ect.

I really miss the old days of EQ, before the economy was ruined, and the expansions got out of hand and i think SOD would be great to play.

Please if ya can help me, email me at: [email protected]

I would love a list of what folders to make, what mods, with links i could use, User maps, that are permitted, ect, what the progression is up to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hint

I started playing last week after a long break from EQ were I played a Druid into the 50s. Just make sure you read the intro docs. Don't just go to your expected newbie grounds to kill. They may not be as you expect.

The first day I played, I leveled to 3 and then decided to ride the boat. It was just as I expected until I got past the port guards at my destination. There were very high level skellies walking around that killed me easily.

I actually made the trip again thinking they must just be in that area by guards. I did make it a little farther into the city, but with the same result.

Finally I read the intro docs. The world is not the same. But the fun is definately there.

Things I like,
/cm bind
/cm listview, listsold, listbuy

Also make sure you download those maps. I kind of thought there were just optional. It sure does make things easier, especially my beloved home in the trees.
