Iksar faction question

I have a group of friends playing humans but i want to play an iksar, whats the faction like could i enter newport or other lighties city? or would I be KoS to guards etc?
 
Also is there any way around if im kos to those cities? like earning faction by killing some mobs etc? I'd be very thankfull for any information.
 
Its not worth it as an iksar if your friends arent. You cant get into their cities at all without illusions, well, erudin would be possible if you slaughter countless kobolds, but that city is far far away. Also, humans get a boost to their exp......newport is another city where I think you would be KoS, however that faction cant be raised easilly at all. You would have to slaughter and slaughter and slaughter gnolls for their ears, then get an illusion human spell for the turn in in centaur hills to receive a token, take that to newport and get another illusion to bring the tokens to the office of the people, and make the turn in for faction....that would take a long long time...... GL though

And I've been reading more... apparently Humans learn quickly. That makes me happy. My skills seemed to be going up faster than when I play a Wood elf.

Yup terribly happy, and Ramblo here is one of my human friends.
 
unless there has been some major faction reworking in the past couple months (i haven't been around to notice) an iksar can stroll right into Newport without a problem, just as an example. it seems most places i go view me apprehensively until i do something to affect faction.

WR is far less racist than EQ Live. :)
