Ikisith Newbies

ukaking

Dalayan Beginner
Im sure its been brought up, but I was discussing this with a group earlier today and wondered if the community wanted it, why wouldnt it happen...

Newbie Iksar made in Ikisith, when it comes out, would be like the Iksar from Kunark. Hated, feared, etc.

Its a shame to think that the best newbie zones in the game are going to be transformed into top tier zones. More people than not enjoyed the lower levels in Kunark and I think we would be missing out significantly if we take that away.

Field of Bone, Kurns, Lake of Ill Omen, Giant Fort in Warsilks Woods, etc.

I understand changing somethings for the expansion, but man, don't take away the newbie zones and Cabilis!

When zones are chosen and designed, the devs pick them to fit best with their plans. Loio may even end up being an outdoor raid zone!

Even still, I think you can be confident there will be low level content in ikisith, although not necessarily newbie zones.

The whole point of Dalaya is that it is not, and will not be like "live", everything is built to come together as a new whole, and you need to mix and match to get everything right. Sure, a newbie zone might wind up becoming a high end raid zone, but we don't exactly have the massive population to warrant needing a new starter town.

The Vah recently gave an entirely new newbie region, and having the Iksar pack up thier belongings and move right back to Ikisith as soon as it launches doesn't exactly make sense. Gotta just go with the flow and wait to see what surprises lie in wait...

They may be deemed the best newbie zones on Live, but on SoD it was just an empty zones that may be used for whatever purpose. Is it really the zone layout that caused it to be a good newbie area? Most likely is was mostly due to the implementation of NPCs

Thanks for answering my questions. I see where you are coming from. Definitely not doubting anyone here, just kinda wanting some knowledge about it and the future plans.
Thanks again.
