Ikisith Bind Points

Ok, so ikisith is like the old style MoP. There are a billion see invis mobs that rape, death touch mobs, roaming trash everywhere, mobs that fade into the scenery, and world clutter(trees and what not) all of which combine can kill you. Only problem is with as big as zones are, if you die, then its another 15 minutes back to where you want to go assuming you dont get killed again.

My proposal is at least make it so you can bind at the entrances of zones. This way if your going a long way, you can at least recover easier if you die.

You can already bind in NWoT (right in front of the crate), Murk in the froglok village, remnants, and DL Refuge, I don't really see any need for other bind points with those 4 all available.

4 Days ago I was forced to remove my shadowknights bind point from citadel to remnants by my guild, it was the most awful day of my life. I have a burning hatred for that tunnel in dreadlands and want to agree that having more bind points would be nice.

Yeah, there are actually a decent number of bind points. The big difference is its way harder to get the few gate clickies that are there in ikisith, meaning if you dont have them, you're limited to one place to bind at/gate to.

Well, Ikisith is meant to be an imposing place which Dalayans are infiltrating as an act of war. It's not meant to be a comfortable place to be. The bindable locations there have something in common: you have to gain the trust of the inhabitants and be welcome there.

At least getting to dubious with Gruploks isn't particularly difficult, and then you're able to bind in the Gruplok village in The Murk.

Never really had a problem with this...I just bound in whatever zone I was using the most at the time. Either the Murk, Remnants, or by Citadel...

if anything i kinda wish there was some form of spot outside the tunnel of refuge so you dont have to travel what i call "snake way" out of refuge. it would ahve to be a distance away from tunnel entrance obviously as the rebel guards would eat non friendlies..

The point is that you shouldn't be able to be bound in Dreadlands if you aren't friendly with The Slave Rebellion.

could re-enable binding outside citadel for those who have done the citadel assault quest, this would line up just fine with lore as you are binding outside a zone you are basically in a constant state of war with for easy gorilla warfare on the keazual hoard

This would be a great compromise. If you made the tunnel bind-able then only incredibly stupid people would bind there without having done the rebel quests.

Druid/Wizard instant Evac ftw. Or would you make it like a War zone, where everything auto-pops on you if you are KoS?

Seems like there are ways "incredibly stupid people" could figure out to get around possible death and still choose to bind there without direct adverse reaction.

If you are caught trying to use Exodus to cheat the system, I will probably just ban your ass. When you get the spell, the NPCs tell you not to that. There's tons of guards that will kill you quickly, and it's not like you don't know better. If you are that scummy to try to circumvent that obvious and explicit design intent, then you should just leave.

Tao,

A little confused here.

I was responding to the previous poster's point about "stupid people" binding there when they are KoS, not the Refuge conduit spell.

Was not stating that I would do that, but rather that if there was a bindpoint in the tunnel then they could circumvent using the quick evacs...Sorry if my post didn't make that clear.

In fact, I personally prefer the current bindpoint(In the Wiz spires) due to easy access to the city. However, I can imagine that "snake" tunnel is a real pain to run through for most to get to Citadel etc...so I definitely understand the desire to look for additional bindpoint options.

How about an NPC inside the refuge that you can hail and will send you to the Citadel or the Prophet's Landing zone line? That would make it so people still have to be friendly to the refuge to bind there and would take away the long run across a gigantic zone.

People would probably even pay a few gold or something as a convenience fee.
