Id like to make a new guy for adpet runs

Greetings everyone, I currently play a monk hes around level 26 atm but I heard of talk of adpet creatures and read about it on the sodwiki site. I wanted to see if I could get a group of "newbies" like myself or server vets (perferred since they are probably over geared) and start a level 1 and hit all the adpets. I tried to solo that named rat last night (lol) like i said (newbie here) and I see its pretty much impossible but I would like to get a "solid" group maybe start with the rat at level 1 and work thru the list.

ps im open for making any new class but I'd like to possibly try an iksar beastlord.

For most (Rabb included) the normal raid limit applies but, iirc, there are a couple that have a 12 char limit.
 
i'll probably get on board with this. im tired of playing my mage atm. thinking bard/ shaman duo to help out
 
sweet! for this kind of romp thru eq, what is really needed? Im sure for some there should be a cleric (or 2) some dps'ers (rogue/monks) and of course tanks!, id be willing to roll up which ever is needed.

I've only played a monk and shaman for most of my eq life, but im willing to step out of the box :)
 
i've never played a bard (seriously anyway) and i had a shaman on live... however i already have a cleric and druid, so only healer i got left to choose is shaman lol

You will need a normal raid setup. Well Puller is not as important. But you will want healers, Slower/debuffers, ds, caster dps, melee dps, and of course a good tank (preferably).

At the highest levels you are gonna need to open up the raid to others, I bet. Traek is not an easy target. In fact, these guys can be a significant challenge even in the 20's. But they are also well worth doing.

Next on target is that evil undead froggy in the swamp! level 9 is max (currently my Rogue is level 6, Ill get him to level 9 and we can engage!) Crooooooooak!
