ice kobold fur nerf...maybe a bit out of hand?

I used to hunt this guys for a while for a tailor friend, I heard that they were going to get nerfed on drop rate, but I hunted there the past 2 days clearing most of the kobolds for a couple of hours and not a single pelt drop in sorcerors. I felt as if they got completely removed. The only reason why I was hunting them this itme is because I upgraded some gear and needed a new augment for it, but spending so many hours and doing so much killing for no rewards is in my own opinion ridiculous. I must have killed over 100+ kobolds, from entrance all the way to king's not one dropped. Can this be looked at?

well back luck in one day is probably understandable, but 2 days and not one, I think that deserves a look up. Granted I was not there all day, just a few hours...but still. Going to parse It when I go there again next time and give you specific numbers.

Not quite the same thing but look at Barbtail in Wyvernfang Coast or the ghostly librarian.
I hunted the Librarian for over a week and killed his PH at every possible time and finally he spawned three times in a row.
Barbtail is supposed to be a super rare spawn and I got him after 10h playing with 2h break and only 2-3h Wyvernfarming.

barbtail is not for trade skills, it is for a quest same as librarian. Thanks for your less useful coments.
Now back to ice kobold furs, went in today killed for an hour-ish, this are the numbers of kills:
40 kills total, at the kill#34 a pelt dropped, this is the 3rd day of me going there and clearing from top to bottom. Think 34 to 1 ratio is pretty long for something used in trade skills. That is all, and thanks for reading.

I killed all of the kobolds (yes, all of them) minus the ones underneath in the drop down place or whatever. I even killed the kobold camp ones up top and got one fur the whole time.

original jboots was for ...jboots. There was no quest. There were place holders for the mob and place holders for the loot. Original jboots camp in Najena broke men.

Needing a mob is still needing a mob; how's it different?

The difference is that when you are camping an item, such as jboots, when you get the item you are finished and can move on. When you are farming for tradeskill items you typically are after as many as you can get. The furs are used to make the best tailoring augments. They don't go into just the feet or just the arms slot. Thus the need to get several, more if you are making the augs for resale or for skillups.

Because he's not looking for a specific mob, just any ole kobold can drup a fur.

Pretty much every Wyvern can spawn Barbtail.
Show me the difference.

Anyways I don't want to argue or anything I just looked for a comparison and since I only mentioned quest mobs you are quite right, this IS different but it is at least a little similarity in it.
Just tried to figure that you can have bad luck for days as well as good luck.
No matter if you are for either quest Mobs or Tradeskill mobs.

I've wiped the undead frogs in Mielech A for Balsam 4 times in a row and got 4 Balsam.
I know I didn't camp for hours but isn't that the same? This drop rate isn't either high nor low as well as Giant Blood.
I killed HG's for approx. 7 hours, not a single Gaint Blood Dose.
The next day one dropped 3...what I want to figure out is that it just can happen to have bad luck in a row.
