Greetings all. I learned of this place from a friend who currently plays, goes by the name of Talanthas (Hey Murphy! I'm here!). My previous experience with MMOs include Asheron's Call, EverQuest, EverQuest 2, Matrix Online, and Final Fantasy XI. EQ1 which I have the most experience with. I'm in Florida, currently attending school for Game Design and Development. Given that it's a 40 hour per week school, I'm not sure how much time I'll get on here, but I hope I can squeeze as much enjoyment out of the experience as possible.

Check the tome of knowledge for many good pieces of info.
Check the Classes & Gear forums for ideas on your characters.
Check the wiki for cool quests liek the Main Quest and Starfalls.
After you're done reading all of that - have fun!
 
Welcome to SoD!! I'm always a bit jealous of you with a talent for things that allow you to make a living with games, it's slightly comforting to know the hourly commitment involved in getting there =P~
