I need this name deleted

If there is no way that this can be done, then can someone create an account for me using the same name and pass linked to this? If not on that, then is there a way for me to create my game account and link it to this board account? I'd like to be able to get registered :)
 
If I'm breaking some rule by asking this, could someone at least tell me what it is or some form of response please? This has had 95 views already.
 
Alright, on the registration page it wants me to register my game account. I had already signed up for an account here rather hastily (wasn't planning on trying to play, just wanted to read the boards and message someone that I once knew). Now that I'd like to play a bit, I try to register an account on that page.

My message board name is already here, so since it creates linked accounts, it puts me in a situation of having to create a game account with my preferred name and a new board account with a totally different name. I was hoping to either circumvent that by asking if someone could A: create me a a game account that is linked to this board account using the same info, or B: delete this board name and I'll gladly just resign up on that page so that my stuff is in order :) My apologies on the confusion.
 
Does anyone have any clue what I'm talking about? I've messaged Rab about it, and recieved no response, and the best I can see is that most people glance at this and leave.
 
It has no advantages, and if it did (or once it will get it), we'll implement a way to link your in-game account to your forum account.
 
I ran into the same problem as you and, well, I simply entered a "junk" new forum ID on the registration page. Don't worry about it.

The reason behind this entire ordeal was the following quote in the registration page: "Note that it is possible to register an account on the forums, but there are certain benefits to having it linked to your game account." Not sure what that means, but just wanted to bring it to your attention. Thanks for the response :)
