i need some help please...

when i hit the play button and try to get into the game i keep getting a message that says "this application has failed to start because d3dx9_30.dll was not found. re-installing the application may fix this problem" can you help me out and let me know what i need to re-install, or what can help me out?? thanks!!
 
Had this problem today and it's not directx related. I clicked advanced on the SOD login and selected the repatch all option and ran it again and it fixed it after updating some stuff.
