You should start up a custom pvp server because theres a very high demand for a good one! Having played EQ on a blue server for two years and pvp servers for six years I can tell you that EQ pvp is awesome(even considering it was never tuned for pvp) and with some fine tuning towards pvp to make it more balanced and fun you could probably get a very active server in the 500-1000 range easy and lots of donations from me!
