I have a SERIOUS problem!

OK, when going to frosthorn coast, SoD completely crashed on me... the error message was that the zone file was missing.
Now my monk(Othlanis Mitsuguri) is stuck in the zone that doesnt exist and when i try to log him on it crashes agail. plz help me.

This should be in Tech Support ... but either way, you should re-patch via EQLive, make sure you have all expansions and optional zones checked off in your advanced menu, also run a complete file check. When that is done, re-patch SoD, I'd even do a Repatch All under advanced, and try again.

make sure you check the Velious-expansion in the company's patcher (advanced).

Similar Thing Happened to Me

A similar thing happened to me while in Heartland Plateau. Although, it only seemed to affect on of my characters.. I didn't even have time to /cm suicide before it crashed. I took the following steps:

1.) Repatched SoD - Didn't Fix
2.) Deleted JaggedPine zone files in Eqfolder according to an IRC suggestion I received and then repatched with EQLive - Didn't fix.
3.) Reinstalled EQ - Patched All then SoD Patch - Didn't Fix
4.) Requested a GM summon me to a different zone - EBL and found myself under the ground. but alive. I gated to NBL and everything was back to normal. Thank you Raherin for the timely IRC chat and subsequent summoning.

I'm not sure what has caused your crashing, but I hope this helps if the others' suggestions don't work out for you. Good Luck.
