i got a problem

ok i got every thing up to and when i start the patch it stops at generalcommands.html im so lost as to why any one know?

Wrong section, but what you should try is deleting files.txt in your EQ folder, and pepatch using the SoD client. Click advanced on the SoD patcher and press repatch all.

i know srry bout that all the txt files? and do they say .txt at the end?

Not all of them, just "Files.txt."(SoD checks this before patching) and yes it ends in .txt.

the program you open it with doesn't matter since you're deleting it not opening it

Make sure you have firewalls and norton turned off. If that does not work, try manually downloading and replacing your patched files (see this stickied thread).
