I don't see anyone by that name around here.....

Is there anything you can do to reduce the number of "I don't see anyone by that name around here" bugs that happen when fighting? I basically took Dec/Jan off and I didn't see that message before then and I see it pretty regularly now.

I would guess that this may be terrain based/triggered as I see it the most while solo'ing my bard outdoors. I cover a lot of ground and usually (but not always) it is a small hill/dent that seems to trip this. I have also seen this in some of the flattest parts of the badlands though. If I have a mob dot'd and he goes into this mode, I can't loot the corpse if the dot kills him.

It can also can be a group killer when the mob you are fighting suddenly gets bugged and even though you can plainly see him 2 feet in front of you, you can't attack or cast on him but the mob is still able to kill you.
 
The left side (facing in) of the orc fort in EW has this bug pretty bad as well. And of course when the mob is very close to a wall fighting a pet.
 
I've had it before on a few mobs, 1 in kaladim, a disturbing amount of sharks in the water have caused it. One or two mobs in yaralith and some gnoll fishers in Frosthorn. Seems to be that if you can pull them a bit away from the spot they're in it helps a bit, depending on where you are. The yara mobs? pulled em away from the walls in the hallways, fixed it. The fishers? Bring em uphill to a flat place= fixed. The kaladim one I just stepped back a few paces and zoned, so who knows but same theory should probably work there. The sharks are the biggest prob I've had, tried to bring the 3 I've had the problem with out of the water.
shark 1 in starfall = didnt make it. humans swim sloooow lol
shark 2 MW= didnt work zoned
shark 3 erudin= adjusted height in the water, fixed it.

Speaking of sharks... are they supposed to be able to chase you out of the water? I had one chase me clear across Mistwood the other day after i "thought" he was rooted in the water. :eek:
 
Attempted to fight in Red Sun peaks last night. What an awful zone for bards (who are constantly moving and constantly re-casting). Saw this "can't see anyone" constantly. Even if I tried to stick to some of the flatter areas, I still had a few WTF? moments when I couldn't see what the heck was blocking line of sight.
