I Can't Seem to Fix the Slow Motion Problem

I have been experiencing the Slow Motion problem for a while now. I have tried numerous things I found on these forums in order to fix it and none have worked. Here are some things I tried:

-Changed the Power settings on my Monitor to 'Never' (I even changed them in SpeedswitchXP which I downloaded)
-I went into my graphics card options and told it to run at optimal, regardless of power
-I never even HAD EQ play nice to begin with

I can't figure out what is going on with this slow motion thing.
Finally, here are my computer specs:

Laptop
Running Mircrosoft XP (Media Center)
AMD Turion 64 x2 Mobile
2.01 GHz, 2.00 GB or RAM
GeForce Go 7600 Graphics Card

If you guys have any ideas, please let me know. Its extremely difficult to play like this.
 
It's not the monitor - never option you want, it's the Power Schemes changed to Home/Office OR Always On and not something like Portable/Laptop.

Also if you're using EQPlayNice ... stop using it, that would cause issues on a laptop.
 
Changed to the Office/Home setting and I still get Slow Motion.

Also, I haven't used EQPN.. ever lol
 
I have an Athalon 64 laptop and I was getting the reoccurring slow motion and lag. I actually started using EQ play nice and I haven't had a problem since.
