Just a quick intro, played the game from just after the release of Velious, up until getting on the beta of WoW (2003/4?). Wasn't hard core, I think my highest character was a 54 Ikky monk with a fungus tunic jobbie. Towards the end I think I spent more time in the bazaar 
Quit WoW a couple of years ago, occasionally pay for a month and dabble, but just doesn't have the draw it did originally.
Was doing some PC housekeeping and came across a disc image of an old harddrive - lo and behold, there was my old EQ directory. I'd had a bash previously with WoW private servers (they were all high end, so I had no clue what I was doing) and wondered if there were any EQ ones around. The search brought me here
I've patched the software, and run through the initial dream, so it all seems to be working OK. Now all I need to do is decide on a character and jump in. I do have a couple of questions regarding dual boxing, but I'll have a hunt through the wiki and forum first, before asking
