Question and request:

Is it possible to make the wiki accessible using HTTPS? When I am at work I can connect to all the pages on the website by using https. Wiki however is not secure or doesn't have that option.

The wiki isn't available over HTTPS because we currently only have an SSL cert that covers shardsofdalaya.com with or without the www. We would either need another cert for wiki.shardsofdalaya.com or a wildcard cert which is considerably more expensive.
 
Unsure the current setup but changing the wiki.shardsofdalaya.com to a DNS level redirect for shardsofdalaya.com/wiki would be one method of making it happen, right? As far as the cert for shardsofdalaya.com goes at least (unsure the specifics, I always just self sign my ssl cert so you get the dialog/error thing heh).

However, I don't know how many things that may break, if any, vs the ROI type of thing. Depends.

I've been in IT for 17 years. Started when I was 20. I never....ever got in to web development. I can write batch files and scripting with Powershell and a bit of Basic, but never web pages/development and such.

I can work the crap out of SQL, SCCM, SCOM, Sharepoint (yes I know, it's web-based, but not the same), WSUS, all MS OSs, HBSS, Symantec products and more. So, this is news to me :)
